Hi brady,

I've just listened to the tape and no track list was given for either of the two parts. In fact, these essential selection shows were presented by Mark Goodier, not Pete Tong.

There was actually a series of these "hot mixes" on radio 1 about that time. The ones I have on tape are:

Frankie Knuckles - 23 Oct 1992
David Morales - 25 Oct 1992
Sasha - 30 Oct 1992, 1 Nov 1992
Tony Humphries - 6 Nov 1992, 8 Nov 1992

Do you have any of these as mp3? If not I can try to work out how to convert and upload them.

yeah i noticed mark goodyear doing the jingles, and listening to the end of the tony humphries one i have you hear mark goodyear saying

"1FMs essential hotmix series concludes tonight with the legendary NY DJ tony humphries, that was part two, part one we played on friday night, and thats it for me mark goodyear, pete tong returns next friday

i have the sasha ones and the david morales, and the second tony humphries

i will get em uploaded for you

I think I have all of them on TDK tapes! I recorded them all in my Halls of residence at Salford University.
I must rip them. . . .all tip top recordings direct from the radio.

The announcer at the start says "Friday nights on One FM" too, so it must have been a Friday. I wrote 13th on the tape, but I could have been having a mad moment! In that case it was probably the 11th, but I can't be 100% sure. :S
