If it isn't Jehovah's Witnesses, it's Mormons knocking on the door:|

You don't see Christians knocking on doors trying to convert people.

Mind you they were both young women and I suppose their religion would allow me to marry them both, so I can't remember now why I sent them packing:S

Mormons might be Christians, but Jehovah's Witnesses aren't. They believe that Jesus was a prophet, not the son of God :)

I always give them the first sentence.........just to make sure, then tell them politely that i'm not interested - before slamming the door in their faces :)

well, I thought as both sets of beliefs revolve around "Christ", as in Jesus Christ, that this made em Christ-ians...
I might well be wrong likes... I don't profess to know or care about such rubbish...

However, I am Curious Oranj :thumbsup: so did a bit o Googlin of me own...

Here's a Linky what says Mormons are Christians... and here's annuva one what says Jovos are...

It's all very confusing... I suspect these questions are the source of many a punch-up down whatever pubs yer mormons & yer jovos drink in... if indeed they drink... but one thing's for sure... If they don't know for certain, how the feck are they sposed to convert other peeps? I bet if you ask em, they'll say they are, cos it sounds to me like "the church" are basically using the non-christian argument to dismiss both sets as cults & heretics...

These were 2 young girls from America and when I told them I wasn't interested, they asked me if I knew might have been.

I don't have any enemies though or I could have been sent them to their house!:|
