I used to sort the vinyl colelction by areas of the world. The Americas got their own section, as did the UK. Some of the other dance-music producing European countires got their own wee sections as well, such as Germany, Holland, Italy.
America and the UK make up at least 75-80% of my collection. At a guess i'd say Italian makes up less than 5%. As they say in America, go do the math.

Just checked the box of faves, its about half and half US & Italian with a few UK and Euro bits and bobs in there
Ive a fair bit of both, but I do prefer US House
I wouldnt be suprised at the Poll being 50/50.
The Italo fans have probably voted but kept their mouth shut.Theres history of people crawling out of the woodwork to slag italian off, my collection is better than yours etc etc

WOW!!!! very even on this one. very interesting.
i picked italian, but that's because i don't really like US "housey house" music. a little on the light loafers side for me.

I've gone for italian - I like a lot of US stuff also but i need more education on the US stuff.

ok .... italians copied off usa(didn't we all) .....
some of the deep house that come out of italy was pure class..... and the piano tunes... yes we all danced to them back then,,,, so it's all good
