Nice swan. Strap em to the car and drive up here some time!



Note to self: Must remember to change exposure times when taking pics that are dark. Bugs me when the sky gets washed out as in pics 11 & 12 :(

wow tim those piks have got all my childhood memories flooding back.......i used to spend practicaly all the 6 weeks holidays in that area and around the tower etc.....

my gran lives a stones throw away from there and a firends got a far near there too

Yup, you can fish there. Not sure if there's restrictions at night though, can't really imagine there would be!

Cool, how far is Darwen tower from Walton-le-Dale / Bamber Bridge, Preston Tim?

Might do that this weekend if the weather is nice:D


It'd be a fair old treck from there mate, but suppose it depends if you like mad long rides. Don't know if there'd be any short cuts through fileds either. It's about a 2 / 2.5 hour round trip from where I am, which about 5 mins away from Jonno & Amelie :thumbsup:

Them are well nice pics tim , you should try Hollingworth lake if you get chance thats really scenic , bit of nice weather and i always go up there , not on a bike tho , cant ride one , panic ont corners , lol . :$

It was until the Sunday carvary (legendary) at the The Fisherman ended. . . It's some "winebar" now.
