The Manchester Underground Records shop on Fennel St was the old entrance I think, or at least very near to it. There was also a bookshop next to it I think.

Uncannily on the same day this post was made my Aunty had reminded me about a little incident in the Konspiracy, that is legendary to my family. I had to blag a cover story to my Mum, about why I had come back from a night out with nowt but my shorts on, not even any socks or trainers. :$
I said that I had fallen asleep in the club, and that my clothes had been nicked in my sleep. :$

Only went out a few times that year, discovered Konspiracy club. That has to be favourite club of all time, so insane inside. I should hate it. I thought it might be a good idea to drop a 100 mushies before going in one night in 1990. Deciding I had enough with my materialistic life , ran away from my mates, decided I was too warm got outside through a fire escape, took all my clothes off bar my shorts, don't think I even had my wallet, definitely no trainers. Then ran back in through the main entrance ignoring whatever the bouncers were trying to say, stayed on the raised dancefloor for the rest of the night. As I came back to reality I realised my mates had left me (I don't blame them). Luckily I bumped in to some old school mates who I hadn't seen for a year or so. And managed to get a lift home

When I saw Homeboy, Hippie and a Funki Dredd in the track listing I thought this could have been taken from the same night. But I don't think it was. Unless you remember looking to the left of the decks and seeing a near naked kid trying to climb inside a bass bin :$

Mint mixes Had me going 'like the clappers' at the gym a bit ago, sweat pouring down me like it was 1990 again! lol! Loved both sides but erring on the 'B' side erm... side (Whats that minter acid track 23 mins in? Shouda seen me on the cross trekker when that kicked in! )
