I have a Rane TTM56i. It doesn't have many features (none in fact to speak of), but the built quality is second to none (the faders are I believe the best out there).

My scratching has come on leaps and bounds since I purchased it phones:

Have to agree Jonno, I've got a simple Pioneer DJM200 at home, but the Rane Empath in the Unity studio is quality. Much easier to scratch (or attempt to lol)

i got a tascam x9 mixer at home n also use the empath by rane at the unity studio which is absoloute class, nice warm sound and the simple layout works for me.as for the tascam x9 more features than you can shake a stick at and the parametric eq's take blending to a different level but think im gettin a little bit too geeky for my own good.lol
always been a firm believer of you get what you pay for,so you tight arses get yer hands in yer pockets n get yourself a decentt mixer n see the benefits.
