had this tune a while now, an ibiza anthem Loved it from the off - one of those tunes that I think will divide people. Didn't Dennis Ferrer use an accordian on Transitions?
I read an article/review somewhere were Richie Hawtin of all folk said this was tune of the year!
Hated it when first heard it but then warmed to it when at Bora Bora for the atmosphere but it quickly became radio one daytime fodder after that :|
Great tune - with great memories. Played it at our first loco in Ibiza of the year back in June and remember the crowd legging it round the corned to the stands of the seal pit when they heard it coming in..... top moment
same thing happened more or less all summer..... but by end of June tongy and jules had already got it as their back ground jingle to news and stuff, so my love for it was lost a bit with it being played on the radio every 2 seconds..... deffo brought some fun back into techno, which is needed every so often as a lot of minimal stuff can be very pretentious at times! samim's other stuff is absolute class..... saw him play live at fabric and he was tops. banging melodic techno, no cheese whatsover.
