Well discovered bassheads “Non Verbal Communication” and its quality….& an unknown of mine…can’t believe I never listen to b sides. Same as “ecto jam sub” on “space face”, also a quality tune.

Anyway query is what great b-sides is there out there..

I’m sure if I had a spin through my tunes I’ll discover plenty more I’ve never listened to. :$
(((another example was TNT “I kill love” it had one of my huge unknowns on the b side, ten years & £20 parted for a copy & then i noticed afterglow “right on” on the b side  )))

It got released on the B side to Its Just A Song

Superb tune btw

One that springs to mind is Meltdown II by Quartz, on the B side to We're Comin at Ya (Remix)

Big tune at Konspiracy and far far better than the original IMO

I think a lot depends on what you really mean by B-Side.
If you know an EP is an EP, does that immediately discount it? (seeing as that might automatically discount it as a B-Side)

If not, then it would probably have to be the following bit of tunage for me:
Various - Brooklyn Beats (http://www.discogs.com/release/42156)

I originally hunted this one down for one reason: Mundo Muziques - Andromeda. It blew my nut the first few times I heard it out in 1991.

After finding out that Andromeda was on this release, and then buying it, I got lucky and found another 5 "B-Sides" on this one. Every single tune on this is a corker for those that haven't heard it. Best house/techno release ever in my opinion.

What I mean by B side is a tune that people wouldn't buy the vinyl for, As in you wouldn't buy sub sub "spaceface" for "ecto jam sub"...you'd buy it for "spaceface" obviously.

The comments above of technoage "movin on", technically it may be a bside but its not is it....You buy it for "movin on" thats the tune so it shouldn't count...I know i certainly didn't buy technoage for "fixation" so technically this could be a quality B side

what I really mean is what great tune have you bought and then discovered the other sides ace as well...

No need to stop, you were doing quite well there ;)

My only reason for asking is that sometimes people buy an EP for maybe 1 track but know they are getting an EP, which kind of softens the blow a little.

On a more traditional brucie bonus b-side, i've got a few....

Lower East Side:
- Fierce Ruling Diva - Whipped Kream (The Summer Remixes) - brucie bonus: "I Don't Wanna Be A Freak" phones: phones: phones: phones:
- Fierce Ruling Diva - Floorfiller - brucie bonus: "My Name Is House" and "Here Today, Here Tomorrow"
- 2000 & One - Nowhere - brucie bonus: "Inner Rhythms"
- Pallas - A Taste Of Ulysses - brucie bonus: "Are You In Heaven?"
Music Man:
- Liaisons D - Heart-Beat - brucie bonus: "Future F.J.P."
- Lhasa - Vol. 1 - brucie bonus: "Feel Dis Beat On"
- Second Chance - Hard Up - brucie bonus: "In Paradise"
- After Dark - Come With Me Tonight - brucie bonus: "Astral Invasion"

...and that's only having a quick glance at 2 labels. The list could go on and on and on. B-sides rule.
