Woody, best set I've ever heard you play! Well done fella!

Scubar was a good venue but a bit hot at times and could do with two rooms but overall I liked it!

Nice to meet some people I haven't met before and hello to the regular rogues gallery that frequent OSA events!!! You know who you are!

The atmosphere wasn't as good as the last party there though but maybe that was a one off anyway!

Overall, I would give it a rating of glad I came out!

Good to meet some off here that hadn't met before, I'll start off by saying if I don't mention you and did meet you, I've forgotted as my brain was mashed down to a spec of self raising flower (lol wtf?)

Buzz, Stylee, Lottie, Cheymane, Silky, Ikontraband, Tony Ross (not seen for years since the days of Spin Inn) Marie (moggy's other half)

Great to see a good turn out from the usual suspects and some not seen in ages (murfs, ow do helen, VA & ste) lol and I thought Dannster appeared later in the night dressed as a painter but was told he'd been to a wedding (painter? )

I had a mad moment at the bar trying to buy some water, the bar girl wasn't letting me have any at first saying she couldn't give me the bottle, so I says how do I get at the water without the bottle?!

She poured it out into a glass and then walked off with it and threw it away I was getting worried at this point, of course in my head this had taken over an hour to do anyway, where does the time go? She came back and poured another one and said there was something in it- I said what, water? and was waiting for her to throw it away again :|
That confused the fuck out of me, them bar staff are wrong-uns.

Great to see Sprewell out again too, been over 2 years I think since I've seen you out mate

Dr. Hux's set was by far the best of the night IMHO. When was the last time you heard Peace In The Valley played out?? - It depends how you classify an anthem - It was a bit of an anthem in 1991 but you don't really hear it played at oldskool nights of modern day. It is DEFFO an "un-anthem!! Cheesy as the tune may be, I thought it sounded fookin ace and I was singing along!!
Cracking set with quality original mixing type stuff to boot!!

On the same note - Woody's last tune - [Black Box - I Don't Know Anybody Else] sounded awesome! One of them tunes u sort of don't really listen to - but when thrown in your face like that......... good stuff! Techno Trance also went down a storm in Woody's set .

Saysay also played some corkers which were right up my street including Twin Hype and an MC Buzz B track I can't think of the title of

Good to see some old and new faces. I havnt been out for ages and I have to say it just didn't feel the same - as if something was missing.............

Big thanks to all the OSA crew for making a really top event. Had a great time, i've forgotten how good oldskool nights can be! Great to meet some new faces finally, SHOOMS your a star mate! ELVIS your off your ed! and all the regular ones who I not seen in years JAXXY, TAUL PAUL, PLUTES AND SHAZZ, FLANGE AND ANGE, STE H.
I've forgotten most of peeps I spoke to in there (was completely bolloxed by midnight!) The tunes were ace, a nearly dived on top of Ste H when he played that MORPH tune, fookin mint!

I think the atmosphere was good, loads of safe people and not one bit of trouble! It was a little dark but better too dark than too light IMO. I think the venue is ace, drinks not too expensive either but I would say they need more comfy seating!

All in all, top night and well done boys!

First off, massive shouts to Woody n Butty for organising the do. Me n Jo got there about 10, heard Saysay finishing up her set with warehouse and old hip house style tunes and summat mad as fk like Fleetwood Mac at the end. Moggy followed on with a similar vein of warehouse tune chuckin in a few new beat style tunes as well. I got on next and played a mixture of not well known stuff, stuff you dont hear alot and a few anthems (sorry for me keep turning the gains up!), lol Peace in the Valley dub mix... I was saying to Jo earlier that day that peeps will think its cheesy but, at the end of the day its a good tune imo, and you dont hear it out much (thats not cos it shit tho lol) BUT I will hold my hands up and would except a severe beating if I played the full vocal version, that is gay as fk lol. Talking about unanthems and the like. IMO if I just played a bunch of unknowns then the majority wouldnt appreciate it. But by playing a mixture and balancing it out, then the majority will appreciate it. Woody was up next and played a good balance of tunes, then Grover came on and played his unique style to end the night off. I thought all the DJ's I heard on the night played wicked sets. It was shame I didnt get to hear Marts set.

It was good to see everyone again, and I met a few new peeps as well, so shouts to all, old and new. We had a top time. The venue is perfect for these do's. Finally, big love to me Mrs Dr Huxtable, your ace!
