Yeah, Etch-a-sketch was like a red telly and you drew by turning the buttons at the side. Great for straight lines, absolute bugger if you wanted wavey lines or curves!!!

I do remember the other one though but the name I can't... is Magnadoodle correct?

It was Magna Doodle wasn't it:S

Blue frame with a plastic stylus/pen for drawing and a slider at the bottom?

Used to have one many years ago:thumbsup: :D

Had one of those and graduated to Etch a sketch!

other way round for me, etch-a-sketch first, then magna doodle...which IMO were infinitely superior...at least you can do corners and dont have to shake your tiny brains around getting rid of the picture after :naughty: lol
they've got a magnadoodle stuck on the back of joey and chandlers front door in friends havent they?

the first post of this thread is something different again isnt it? I remember then, like some sort of magnetised pen thingy, and when youre done you peel the top layer back to get rid, and it made a crackly crunchy sound as you peeled it.
I liked them.
Anyway, this post is getting far too long for someone who's only just woke up, so i'm going now, Ciao :D

*picks up monitor and shakes it to correct a typo* ;) :D lol

Word of advice. Never open an etch-a-sketch to see what is inside. There is a house full of carbon particles compressed into that little box..... Makes your house look fire damaged :naughty:

  tickled me that did
