Cheers for this Scott (y)
before hearing the set ,I thought track one was going to be by Sound Waves but its not... track 5 is also bugging me, my first thoughts was the Blind truth ep.
I used to have a few of these Kaos promotions tapes, How many are there ?

I was given a T shirt bitd by a promoter or a dj cant remmber who though, could of been SS . It had that man with his fingers in his ears printed on the back on the shoulders and same small icon on the chest

theres a few of these Kaos tapes, unsure if they are from Kaos events or what, its never been figured out, I know some of the house sets are from G Spot, Derby, maybe Henry could ask Russell what the story is behind these tapes

I remember going in to Kaos Records, was only very young though, maybe 12-13 so nothing really sticks in the mind apart from seeing Micky Finn (we asked who was dj'ing at the time) in there once, if it's any help in the search, it was based in Hope Street in Hanley. Not sure why there Parky tapes in there though, i'm sure it was a hardcore place.

Ive just read the comment at the bottom of the cogs page, the guy saying that the some of the sets are not the dj thats on the spine on the cover etc..

I have never been able to work out the number method they are using, has in, was there a total of 15 carl cox kaos tapes etc...

Might also be worth asking Daz Willot has he was the buyer etc

I can’t believe I’ve found this mixtape! It is such a significant piece of my musical history. I just typed Kaos house music mixtapes into google….. and this was the first thing to come up! I guess it was meant to be 😊 Anyway, back to the tape, I bought it randomly from BPM in Derby (May 92), having never previously gone to any house nights etc or really new anything about it. And it kickstarted a love affair and musical obsession that has lasted to this day!

I bought this as a tape from quaff records in London back in 91 as mixed by Steve lee and not Rampling and was they had a series of mix tapes Phil Perry at Mos Danny Rampling at milk bar and the shop was often used by Rampling and Steve lee and Phil Perry as I used to see them in there often
