it's not clear on discogs, it's a hand written white label but side B isnt pictured, the 95 mixes are just called Get Up

That 'Mamma Say' track is a mystery. Aside from obviously sampling Michael Jackson's 'Wanna Be Startin' Something' "Mama say mama sa mama coosa" line, I think is samples the bassline from Reel 2 Real Featuring Mad Stuntman – Go On Move, and the drum beat from the Goodmen 'Giving it Up', which is also sampled by Dave Morales' The Boss - Congo (the track that comes in after the Mamma Say track. The drum beats are taken from Brazilian legend Sergio Mendes' Fanfare from 1992;

Jon's just replied to me with this:

'To be honest, I can’t remember half the tracks I played back then and a lot of them were white labels that I don’t have now. I probably never knew what half of them were called in the first place. Sorry, I’m no help. It is 31 years ago!!'

This could be one of those that never gets IDed I fear. I'm going to ask Al Mackenzie as he has a good memory and knowledge of random tracks from the 90s.

That track sounds very Italian Scott. The on the JWP mix sounds like something from one of those Raw Tunes bootleg 12" releases.

So frustrating that that King Of Pop listing doesn't have any YouTube vids!
