Just watched Harry Brown - Harry Brown (2009)

Must say I really enjoyed it and Michael Caine does an excellent job as a modern day Paul Kersey in London. Sure its totally predictable but I loved the Death Wish films and this was a great film in similar style.

Maybe we need more vigilante pensioners in the UK to sort out the hoodies, neds, chavs etc.

Highly recommended on your local torrent sites now

I think vigilante pensioners might be a bit too far, but I think its only a matter of time before the public does.. been saying for a while something like this has been brewing, and it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. People are very pissed off at the moment with the state of this cUntry:cops:

I enjoyed Gran Tourino, yet to see Harry Brown.

Thought Gran tourino was good, but just watched Harry brown & it's a lot better imho? More gritty, dark in places like pauly says & more believable. Still in the same vain as GT though lol As in OAP goes bad (happier ending in HB though)

I found it disappointing - the casting wasn't great apart from Michael Caine the rest could have been stronger characters.

It was really slow in parts as well, after seeing the better (imo) Gran Torino which is a longer film, it was typically British with a strong opening that lacked in the rest of the film.
