the day is upon us to mark the end of the first world war and also to remember our fallen hero's

but i was mortified the other day when somebody said when is poppy day and whats it for:| she was wearing a poppy and didnt have a clue wehat it meant, she thought it was something along the lines of a charity like breast cancer and such like!! total ignorance i thought

do any of you observe the 2 minutes silence?? we do it here in work and mark it with a short blast of the fire alarm at 11am and again at 11.02

so incase some of you dont know have a butchers below
