We're back for our first event of 09 and after an amazing night of partying back in October, we're all very excited about continuing 2009 in the same fashion
As always myself, Cano, and Miss Saysay will be on hand to supply the tunage and this time we'll be very ably assisted by OSAs very own rouge vegetable... MR RADISH
As anyone who's been to our previous events will know, we are very selective on our music policy and we purposely dont play all the mega commercial cheese-tastic anthems that have been played to death and then some. As all of us are keen vinyl junkies, we put in a great deal of effort finding suitable tunes for the occasion, and we always discuss in depth what tunes with think will both compliment and supplement our guest DJ(s) so the night has a particular and familiar flow about it.
Although you wont hear Robin S, Rhythm is a mystery or peace and harmony etc that doesnt mean we play lots of stuff you've never heard before. We play plenty of stone cold classics that never become tiresome, coupled up with tunes you've probably not heard for a while from all sorts of genres and styles and on occasion some secret beasties that we've come accross on our quest for more of the black plastic stuff
We do this because we try to cater for people like yourselves who are seriously into the scene as opposed to making a quick buck from the anthem lovin' general public. We dont do it for money but rather for the buzz of seeing friendly happy smiley people havin' it large and really enjoying themselves to some quality tuneage

The venue is as always The Scubar, which is on York street, off Oxford Road in Manchester... click the link for map and nearby train stations / hotels .. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=384433&y=397045&z=0&ar=Y
We will be kicking off the night in usual fashion with Canos downtempo hour at 9PM and the party will continue right up until 3am when we will no doubt be booted off the decks by the bouncers who do have homes to go to you know
Entrance is £5 on the door although we are introducing a paying guestlist for this and future events, so you can book your place in advance with paypal. In the past, we have offered (as a bit of a brucey bonus) a freebie guestlist place for anyone who's bringing 4 or more friends. This is now ONLY available for advance bookings... so if you're planning on introducing some of your friends to the madness of IMH, then make it worth your while by paying for them in advance and getting yourself in for free
We hope you can all join us and make this event as memorable as the last. Any questions you may have feel free to reply to the post or PM myself, Neil or Trace, and we'll do our best to help you out.
