    Sudden increase in values?

Anybody else noticed many late 80's and early 90's recs being priced much higher than even a few weeks ago. In addition there seems to be quite poor availability of a lot of tracks or only 1 or 2 for sale. Going through mine ensuring everything is recorded but also on discogs as wanting to have...

Rane SL1 with Serato Scratch VS Rane SL3 with Serato DJ

So today I retired my faithful SL1 which has been very lightly and respectfully used after impulsively buying a 2nd hand SL3 from a local shop. A quick set up on the computer....all of 5 minutes....automatic transfer of my tracks from Scratch to DJ and sit back and listen. The sound difference...

    Tv Series Strange Things

What a great soundtrack running through a pretty good series so far. Has a genuine 80's feel and a sound track full of early sounding synths and electro sounds. Well worth looking up on Netflix S

I never thought I would see the day however buying music here in Brisbane is very expensive with very little available. So my options are stop buying or eat my own words and ask you good people for advice regarding downloading full singles/pressings. Where should I start with downloads, any...

    Todays rant!

I'm getting sick of people coming into our living room and..."WOW you got a lot of records" and then them spouting on about how they bought an Abba special edition, only one in the country at a boot fair for 10p :'( Feck off, your not really interested and even if you are they are my records...

    Value of your collection.....

Think this was done ages ago however given that a lot of values have dropped recently interesting to compare and show off. Recall some values previously being quite high and nearing the £100k mark. No cheating, digital has no value and yes I know records have much more than pure financial...

I used to use the stats regarding the number of people owning the release or wanting a copy to steer prices especially if a rare record...
