I'm interested to see which of the 3 major seller collectives everyone uses. I usually always go for GEMM first. I like the way the record is removed as soon as you buy it.

Last night I was listening to a teach yourself disco dancing record that had arrived in the post and came across the sample: "and together with the right" "now here comes the music", it's the samples that were used at the start of Jinny - Never Give Up (I think!). I'm always pleasantly suprised...

It was the Genesis thread that got me thinking about this. Genesis have released loads of LPs. Shed loads in fact. They released about 14 LP's before they really hit the big time (globally) with Invisible Touch. Fleetwood Mac were pretty much the same, although they did go through a whole host...

Here are this week's ebay sales, all have samples (and I'm going to try and make this a weekly thing!): CHARLES B - Lack Of Love - Classic Acid *LISTEN* A Journey Into Stereo Sound - Spoken Word LP DJ SAMPLES BRAND NEW HEAVIES Back To Love, Graeme Park Mix LISTEN ANGHELUS PROJECT Come On -...

It was a request in Vinyl Wants that made me think of this but does anyone remember Prophetia - Rave Is Your Party? It's the one with the dodgy Italian bloke saying "you wanna have a rave party?". It was a big tune for a very short period at Monroe's, one of my mate's still loves it. I always...

Here's the tunes I've got on ebay this week (all with samples): INFRETTA - Something About The Music RARE Piano LISTEN DESY MOORE You're My Love ++ Rare ZONE CLASSIC *LISTEN* DJ Spy - Go To Your Heart Old Skool Zone Italian LISTEN NAIF - A Dream Today RARE ZONE ITALO CLASSIC *LISTEN* J.K. -...

Don't know if many people know this record, and I'm not knocking it, but it's one of those that I'd definitely class as a "zone" tune. I've attached a sample here for those that don't know it, it's the original mix on the clip. Anyway I bought a US Jungle Remix of this; it's not on Discogs and...

I know we've had threads on this before, but what a dump Melody House is. I reckon you'd be hard pushed to find a dingier record shop in the entire UK (nay the world). It has the appearance of having had a fire or a flood, and they've just opened the door to let the emergency services in - it...

Not put any for sale for ages but here are a few, and they all have samples so you can try before you buy: Orbital - Chime Rare DMC Remix Old Skool **LISTEN** OMD - Souvenir DMC mix Sasha@Shellys Old Skool*LISTEN* Passions- German Film Star Rare Dave Clark DMC *LISTEN* DJ Spy - Go To Your...

Monday's tune for me is: Botany 5 - Lovebomb, Slam Mix phones:

For me it's without doubt the Blackcurrant Tango - St George's advert that was on a few years ago. It's fucking brilliant, hands down genius that has everything - even a decent tune. It's so good I think it should be shown again for the world cup. Here's the ad...

Never started a tune of the day thread before (apologies if there's one already started). Anyway I'm gonna have David Bowie - Oh You Pretty Things, and what the heck Life On Mars as well as they follow each other on Hunky Dory phones:

There's a ding dong going on in Holland after paedophiles launched a political party to try and lower the age of consent from 16 to first 12 and then scrap it completely! They also think sex with animals should be legalised ( :condom: ), and there should be free train travel for all (where'd...

I appreciate a BB thread is not gonna popular with everyone (but it does beg the question if you don't like BB then why would fuck would you open the thread in the first place!), but anyway... George has walked out of Big Brother. Can you believe it; 4 down in the first week or so - bizarre!

What do you think on this? Spurs have asked the Premier Leauge if they can replay their final game against West Ham because of the food poisoning shite. The spurs chairman Levy expects to get the replay. I personally think he's off his head. Most west ham players will already be on their hols.

Nath, that copy of Unfinished Sympathy you're bidding on is almost certainly a bootleg. The bootlegs didn't have covers. Another way to tell is the matrix number on the vinyl is stamped (with a stamper) on the original, but it's etched (scratched) on the bootleg. Also the original is 45rpm...

I'm hoping to get myself some new decks and mixer next month. The decks I'm going to get are definitely Vestax PDX2300Mk2 Pro's, but I'm not too sure on the mixer. I'm basically after a 2 channel mixer, good build and sound quality, that's pretty good for scratching. Kills are essential...
