feckin ell, i had both those, i totally forgot. I cant remember the crack with steve majors eye, what was that all about?

:

The eye was telescopic when you looked through the back of his head. His forearm also opened up to reveal a load of wires or something? I'm sure something happened with the leg as well, but can't remember?

I had a stack of the plastic soldiers. Does anyone remember the colour codes as well? The British were dark green, Yanks a slightly lighter green, Germans were Blue and the Japs were a sand type colour. A lad at our school had posh metal ones in full colour including small artillery guns which fired matchsticks!

I also had the para action man  but star wars figures were the number one.

Also the cricket game with the fold out pitch, quality.

I loved my scalextric still got it now...in fact we still get it out and play it from time to time got miles and miles of track....last summer me and my mate built a 30FT straight in his flat...was top bananna i tell thee!

Have u seen scalextric/slot car racing these days.... if you get the top bollox motors in the cars they do 40 mph real speed...! theyve also got this magnet thingy on the bottom to hold em on the track so they dont fly off round the corners....tis the bollox

I fucking love Scalectrix. I went through a right phase of being bang into it about 2 years back. I bought loads :$

Anyway, those new cars are the absolute bollocks, they piss all over the older cars. I bought a couple of cars made by other people than Scalectrix as well and they couldn't compete either.

The new Scalectrix one's have Magnatec or something like that, which as you say is magnets on the bottom. I found the fastest were the long American classic cars (it was something like a Pontiac I forget exactly now).

The system I had was the Sport stuff, but now there is the Digital stuff where you can change lanes. That looks the absolute, absolute bollocks. The Sport stuff is compatible but you need some extra little bits of track, controllers and chips in the cars.
