WAV to MP3 Converter

Can anyone recommend a good one please?
Someone did ages ago & had 'Gold' somewhere in the title. i've been using it ever since, but have a new computer.

Ive used FreeRip for years :

FreeRIP: rip audio CD tracks to Wav, MP3, Ogg Vorbis files for free

Now i tend to use Soundforge 6.

Goldwave was the one I've always used- couldn't remember the name.
