I had to get up on my day off today at 8m for a workman to come around at 8.30 to fix a broken window in my back bedroom......it is now 11.23am, and guess what....hey presto, as if by magic, still no sign of said entity arriving:mad:

You can guaranty, if i had slept in, he would have been banging on the door at 8am

why does this always happen:mad:

On the up side though, i got my house spring cleaned, so every cloud does have a silver lining lol

anyone else experienced these situations??

Jaxxy

Ps Another plus point, i managed to be up in time for the postman to knock on my door with a parcel from Princess Warrior, with a random spud gun, so if the guy turns up now, i can pop a spud cap between is eyes as a punishment for waisting my time.......bad boy !!!! nice one Jo  :ba: :ba:

I got up early on Sunday as a plumber was coming to fit a combi boiler, he turned up Monday

Sometimes the phrase " better late than never " just doesnt cut the mustard!
