Hi
I read in a magazine (Probably dj??) there was a software you could download (I think it's free) which corrects the volume of your mp3/wav files, and apparently a lot of dj's use it.
I forget the name - Any ideas? I need this because the volumes of my tunes are very inconsistant.
Cheers

That's what the gain controls on the mixer are for ;)

Think what you probably mean is that you want the files normalising. This process scans an audio file and finds the loudest point, and then increases the volume of the whole track untill the loudest point is at 0dB

Programmes like Adobe Audition and Soundforge will do the job nicely. Be warned though - if you're decoding mps so that you can alter the file, you're going to loose quality when you re-encode it back to mp3 when you're done.
