Vintage at Goodwood (13-15th Aug) - Oldksool, Funk, Disco, Soul/Northern Soul etc

Anyone going to this festival? Sounds really interesting so might pop down to this on one of the days. It includes a Wraehouse and a Roller Disco. I note that Greg Wilson is one of the curators :

Though it doesn't say what's on when (unless I missed it)

I note that there is also a soul casino for anyone interested in soul/northern soul/funk

It looks amazing however I cant make it. The line up is almost perfect with a great selection of my heros from the late 80's......wheres Trevor Fung though!!

I would have been tempted to dig out my old Bauer Street Skate...yes Street being the Blue ones...not your basic old Turbo's. I used to play roller hockey a little bit so they got a bit battered!! Also used to go to the Tonbridge Angel Centre roller disco's in mid 80's....memories. Checker board lacing and stickers to the backs (was never into the sprayed look as chipped), no protection to truck and cant remember type of wheels or bearings. Sod it im goning to dig them out and book my place in A&E now:|

The old 051 in liverpool is a roller disco now.The wife keeps asking to go but i havnt wore skates since i was about 15,probably break me neck.:$
