I was watching Dr who with my son last night & he said (my son, not Dr Who!) "where would you go dad if you had a TARDIS?" and of course it got me thinking. So, what if you came across the Dr & his trusty blue box & he said "right then I`m feelin like a bit of dancefloor action, where & indeed when do you fancy goin?"

Mine would be Legends in Warrington, June 91 - first night out after a fortnight in Florida, had an absolute stormer of a night ( I can still remeber much of it suprisingly :fekked: ) with some great people including my brother, my girlfriend (at the time) and a great bunch of guys from Widnes! We were first in the club and basically rocked from 9-2! The music was spot on from the start & your typical massive Legends night - some great funky/balearic grooves to start with, followed by a steady build up as the night went on. I still have the tapes from the night! phones:

Don't know much about the Tardis, but I reckon it could survive a magical mystery tour through the ages and would take it for a spin for a couple of nights out! Start in the 70's with the Casino in Wigan before jumping the Atlantic for a night at the Paradise Garage. Then I'd zip over to the 80's and take in Chicago for the weekend with The Music Box and Warehouse, followed by the Hacienda 1989 stylee, cos I missed all of the above and would want to see if it lived up to hype!

Finally, I'd go to Bowlers, last weekend in January 1994 when The FPI project rolled into town and I endured a crush queuing up that reminds me of trying to get into football during the late 80's. And if the Doctor was in a good mood, ask him to do the Revival Session Part One at Bowlers from Feb 94 (I think)! I know I'm asking a lot, but I can only imagine having the one go on the Tardis!

Haha it's times like these when I wish just 1 of us took a camera out with us back in the day:(

Legends sounds top now I know Debs and Oz went but would be weird bumping into them or even myself back then

I'd go for my most favouriest ever night in a club - Pleasuredrome 91 or 92:cool: Heard the most brilliant sounds on one particular night that have been stuck in my memory ever since. Had an epiphanyphones:

Sure the gear helped too, but I heard something amazing that'll never ever be repeated, music from a higher dimension stripped down to the essentials and minimal to the point of hearing basslines, percussion and swirly ace noises in new way

The only tune I remember from the night that I know the name of is Coco Steel & Lovebomb - Feel It
