I once walked into the infamous E - Bloc records in Manchester sometime back in the day...saw these tapes labelled 'The Riddler' on the shelf,the front sleeve had a big question mark on the front & when you opened it up you had a tracklisting on there too,i knew a few of the tracks n thought 'f***k me ,some undercover shit on ere' so i bought the last few volumes they had left,wicked too...anyway i got volumes 4,6,8...these are just too good to miss ..gonna start rippin these now....so get your whistles n horns at the ready

Mike Stewart used to do promote his mixes in the same fashion if i remember ...yea man,there was loads of tapes like that...Afflex Palace over the road used to have a stall on 3rd floor which sold loads of old tapes aswell....the record shops in Manc were great for stuff like that
