Remember reading an article in NME once, which said this album was nearly entirely ripped from some 60/70s American folk/psychaedelic group....anyone remember reading this ...and what was the album supposedly plagiarised by them....particular reference to drum loops, and guitar, erm.."flicks"?

As an ex drummer I find it very hard to believe any band had a stickman like Reni, so not for me

Pete Townsend said he was the most natural drummer he had seen since Moon

It's funny though have for some strange reason Squire did'nt rate reni as a drummer and made him drum to click tracks on the second coming. wtf was that about then, if it aint broke then don't fix it

townsend was the genius writer of that band

moon - genius drummer, miniscule input to material
entwhistle - bass genius, some tunes written, some shit some good but very little input to the rest
daltrey - great blues singer, a bit one dimensional, miniscule input into material

you're a southern monkey to me, so touche

you need to learn how to be polite to your fellow board heads bud. fair enough if u dont agree with summet but theres a wrong way of going about puttin ya point across and a right way, and you always manage to nail the wrong way down to a tee :axe:

all i ask is that when on osa you conduct yourself like the majority of others do on here, respect your fellow members and dont resort to personal attacks :thumbsup:

theres a lot of Nazz, Byrds, Crosby Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, 13th Floor Elevators influence on there, but like all musical genuises they put in the melting pot add their own ingredients and make it entirely their own.
