is it some kind of anniversary for Sesame Street??

the Google homepage has had a sesame street theme for the past few days so im wondering if there is some sort of anniversary coming up?

on the 5th i was expecting a Guy Fawkes sort of theme incorperated into the Google logo but there wasnt....it was the cookie monster, and then on friday it was bert and ernie and now today its the count!

im not complaining coz i loved sesame street as a kid and the characters are ace as fook!

Yeah its the 40th Year anniversary of the thing. I f you hover of the google logo it tells you whatever they represent.

I believed that all kids in the USA are all like the kids on there, but I have now found out it is a very small minority that are like that and come from extremely religious families.
