The only problem is you only have mp3's and you need turntables and you will only have turntables if you have vinyl, but i just wanted to know what everyone thinks of this as i am 100% vinyl but if it is going to end i need to start thinking of it myself :S

Serato Scratch Live is supposed to be the dogs bollocks. Not used it myself but it pee's on Final Scratch from an elevated height if the user reviews are anything to go by. Seems that loads of Final Scratch peeps moved over to Serato.

Thinking about going that way myself - just can't be arsed ripping all my vinyl.

I think it is awesome. I ended up going over to the darkside because there is so much new music out that is only released digitally. I still buy vinyl (old and new) regularly, but I don't want to miss out on opportunities that come along digitally. I have also found it is a lot easier to share and play unreleased material.

I have not tried serato for djing hip hop style (scratching, etc.) but it works extremely well for mixing records in a house or techno style. It is just like playing vinyl and it is very easy to mix the two together.

The guys that made this obviously spent a lot of time thinking what extra it can give vinyl DJs &they have succeeded, it's amazing.

My only grudge is the price, why do they have to charge so much?
