aaawwww, he looks gorgeous doolz, how long have you had him??
gutted for ya mate, i hated it when my cat died

ive helped look after him for the past three years and was very attached to him
he was about 16 which is a grand old age for a staffy

thanks peeps he was in destress he had an enlarged heart and was on the verge of a stroke
had the best temperament of any dog ive seen
ive had the privilige of helping to look after him the past 3 or so years
il miss making up daft songs about him and all the silly nicknames we have given him
strawbs or strawbers - short for strawberry mousse coz it rhymes with bruce

We had a Brucey too and he died last year, its like loosing a reliative. Bruce was my partners mums dog and he was lovley but now shes got another called barney. I just cant let barney take brucies place though ,its weird ,like an imposter dog And its breath fookin stinks

Awww Doolz.... I know exactly how you feel hun... As we had to have our cat Clyde put to sleep on Thursday as he was a very old man at 15... We had him since I was 14 and he had grown up with me... So my thoughts are well with you hun...

Awwww Gutted for you mate, dont know what i would do if i had to have our dog put to sleep, had to have my cat Gerald put to sleep a few months ago and it broke my heart, hardest thing ive ever had the displeasure of seeing...........a few days later i got this poem through the post from the vets and i cried buckets all day, thought i would share it with you cause its really touching............
IF IT SHOULD BE
If it be i grow frail and weak,
And pain should wake me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, i understand,
Don't let your grief then stay your hand,
For this day more than all the rest,
Your love and friendship stand the test.
We've had so many happy years,
What is to come will hold no fears,
You'll not want me to suffer, so,
When the time comes, please let me go,
I know in time you too will see,
It is kindness you do me,
Although my tail it's last has waved,
