I thought we could post our fave rhyming slangs (in a cockernee stylee!:eyebrow: ) on here & see if the rest of us can get what they mean.

EG an obvious one is apples n pears - for stairs,
or syrup, as in syrup of figs - for a wig eg "cor blimey guvnah, look at the syrup on `im!"

Anyway to start us off Im havin Barclays as in "Im quite bored, so Im off for a quick Barclays"

What do you reckon?

Ummm.....
My dad always says either "Im off for a barry white" OR "Im off for a pony& trap" :cops:
Surley it'd b easier just to say theword, rahter than a whole bunch to get the point across?? Ah well sure they'll be some funny one's posted!!:hubba:
