We're after buying a new mixer, having bought a behringer VMX100 a few months ago only to realize just how shite they were after! What would be your recommendations for a good mixer between the £100 - £150 (or lower if possible, lol ) mark?

Cheers ;)

ive got a numark dm1002mx its easy peasy to use as there is not much on it
is pretty reliable and comes in at about £80.

there a sensible post and no mention of straws!!! ;)

Cheers peeps! I shall look into them. ;)

We also have a Numark DMX 1100, but the crossfaders buggard (straws at the ready! lol ) so decided to buy the behringer one, i was recording a mix the other day and realized that whilst on channel 1 you could still slighty hear channel 2! Bleeding useless pile of shite! So its back to the drawing board.

WD40 is not advisable for faders as it will fuck them up in the long run. Best stuff to use is servisol or some sort of switch cleaner like that which you can get from maplins (sorry geeky post I know but that's me :$ )

I think cutters just set on lubbing up everything! :p :hubba:

Tbh its not a sticky fader problem, im not quite sure what the problem is, but i was using the channels instead of the crossfader, Biskit would know, i got if from him a few years ago. Its never bothered me really, but it'd be nice to have a new mixer. :)
