posting records to Brazil - soooo expensive

anyone know of any cheap ways to get them there.
royal mail charge £12 for the 1st 1KG then for additional GRAMS its so ridiculous and other shipping co's charge about £40

Royal Mail are twats at the moment. Try DHL, maybe cheaper, look up Staples and they have a calculator and free packaging. They are a bit hit and miss, got a parcel to me approx 25kilos for £10. Another to Hong Kong about 3 kilos, they wanted £160, that went Royal Mail.

As an guide I pay about £40 to get 50 records from USA at the moment.

You won't get a cheaper price than Royal Mail when sending small amounts of records to Brazil and ROW. Courier companies would only be cheaper for quantities of say 50 or 100 etc. Ed
