Does anyone know the score with these things ????

Bought a tune off ebay and seller wants paying buy bloody postal order.

It's been many a year since I used one of these and I can recall at the time my mum telling me that I had to cross it for security purposes. This seller has asked me to make sure it's not crossed so the alarm bells are now ringing lol.

Its basically an additional security measure, in as much as a crossed PO can only be cashed by the person on the PO at a bank much like a cheque but with a faster clearing time. You would however pay more to have it crossed. Really Post Offices should check ID before cashing Postal Orders, but the reality is that they don't tend to. i think you'll be ok mind

tbh it's only for a few quid but it's the whole thing of having to drag me arse to the bloody post office, then pay extra to buy the thing and then have to buy a pack of envelopes to send it ffs lol
