Party/Invitation cards

Its my sons birthday in a few weeks and we want to do some invitations cards on the pc. Does anybody know any sites/programs on how we can do it.

Obviously me being from Yorkshire it has to be free.

I dont tend to use crafting programmes - only one i do use is paint shop pro x and animation shop for my tagging.

obviously i cant say if these are good or anything but i spose they are worth a read.

there might be some card crafters on here (well you never know shooms might be a closet Create and Craft fan - lol) who have some programmes they could maybe lend you or send to you
