Amazing night - best ever live performance from a dance act imo.

Got no pictures at all as mixing narcs and a camera just doesn't work lol

They were more colourful than they will ever know lol :fekked:

Only caught a bit of the warm up Delphic - who were alright, sounded a bit like Eat Static with a fast paced techno track until they started singing over it - was a bit strange like.

Orbital though - simply amazing from start to end, I loved what they did with the Belinda Carlisle - usually it's just a couple of samples over the breakbeat and straight back into Halcyon but this time they structured a brand new track out of it with lots of raw and analog sounds - proper twisted stuff :D

Also loved the live remixing of Chime - that was quality what they did with that.

Great to see Jim, Tickle and meet Nick/Deb - didn't see Manc in there - hope you had a good time if you were there..

Thanks Nick/Deb for the lift back that was appreciated :king:

I hope they carry on writing new material as Orbital or even Orbital MK II ;) as I'm sure everyone would be up for it...

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish, dropping beast after beast and the visuals were great too

I wasn't into the Belinda Carlisle and Bon Jovi cheese they dropped 3/4's way through, that went way off the beaten track, sounded totally out of place and brought me back to reality  :cops: :naughty: It was just a blip on an otherwise flawless performance though and finally gave me a breather from dancing. They built it back up again though and the dancing was back into full swing;) They're the best dance act i've ever seen:cool:

Good to catch up with all those that went on the saturday too  :D

just got back from the Newcastle gig

delphic were ok, but like jammer said 'singing' 'strange'!
orbital as usual were blinding, it was my 3rd time seeing them, and thought they were a lot 'darker' than the last two tours, seemed a bit more raw and stripped down a bit, which i liked! loved the inclusion of chime crime, always loved that mix!, ohhh and my personal fave 'the box' with added backgound vocally bits! nice! surely a bond theme awaits P+P!

top night!
heres some pics!
