Mislabled records

[stuck in Aahz]

I just bought what I thought was a copy of the original Energy 52-Cafe' del mar (eye q-001). When I played it though, Vernon-Vernon's Wonderland is whats pressed on both sides. The cat# on the runout groove reads eye q-002, which is the Vernon release. Anybody ever see this sort of thing before?

I've had labels on the wrong way around and off centre etc. but can't recall seeing one labeled up with another releases details

there's quite a few kickig around, I've got a some remixes of FPI project on beat club and its got an obscure label on the other side for different tune

aye I can remember it hapening once about 15 years ago.............. can't remeber the tune though... but I was completly pissed off.....and took it back to Our Price and got my cash back..

Yeah, when I first figured out what happened I was a little upset, because I've already got a promo copy of Vernon. But I guess it's not so bad, seeing as it may be the only mislabled copy out there. May just hang on to it for the rarity factor. Bound to be some error copy collectors out there willing to pay a bit more for it.
