Medical Advice needed

Could anybody help me with this one?

About 2 weeks ago i was bitten on the ball of my wrist by summat, it was very itchy and since then ive noticed my wrist is slight swollen and the ball of my wrist looks raised in comparrison to my other one! Sometimes when i move my hand it feels like its pulling out of joint, can a bite inflame muscle etc?? Or am i just being daft and ive just pulled a muscle somehow?

errrr no idea about the bite, have you tried chewing gum instead of chewing your hands?

Get to the docs if I were you (for a sane and sensible answer)

u shud of mentioned this in ya last pm to me ya nutter! lol

get ont phone and tell me all about the symptom picture and we'l get u sorted with some remedies (if shabba hasnt rescued u already!)

also get some calendula cream from the chemist
its absoltutely fantastic for soothing all sorts of stuff, bites, stings, eczema, psoraisis, dermatitis, lumps, bumps, inflammations, burns, scolds, chicken pox, measels, wounds etc
its magic!

To be honest im not too sure it is the bite that has inflammed me wrist, if it was then WFT bit me! lol

I'll give you a bell when ive got a mo, gotta get the nipper ready for nursery!

aww u poor thing, i see this prob everyday as i work in a chemist.

wen u get bit, the area becomes irritated and itchy.
Seen as thou its been 2 week n its still like that, i suggest u got to the docs n get sum antibiotics, as it may have got infected without u realisin.

If it is infected, it shud look very red and angry <------like that!
maybe even weeping (i wont detail this too much as tis bit early!)

if it aint that bad lookin (not sure coz i cant see it) the get sum antihistamine tablets, like zirtec, but make sure u get a cheaper version coz these companys are robbin bastards, its called CETIRIZINE or anotha one is LORATIDINE, and also if u want instant relief, get a cream like minxy said, but i no one called ANTHISAN.shud do the trick!!

like i said thou, if its really bad, go to docs deffo!!!

The actual bite has nearly gone but you can still see the area where i was bitten, its around that area that is swollen, but its affecting around my wrist and up my arm slighty and im not keen on the joint popping feeling i get when i move it!

Maybe the bite has buggar all to do with it! Perhaps ive sprained it, i cant think of how i could have done it, but there again ive ripped my tendon in my leg once whilst asleep so owts possible!!

i get it all the time at home, sometimes think im doin the wrong bloody degree!

yea, cant see it bein nethin else, coz bites do make the area swell up, go to the docs chuck, asap, coz sounds like its got infected n its spreadin. and if u had sprained it, it wudnt be spreadin up ur arm.
its deffo the bite, im sure.

u really need anitbiotics!!
Even if it were, just by chance, a sprain, u cud get sum strong anti-inflamitries from the doc for it.( to bring the swellin down)

Wouldnt worry about it. one of the lads in work got bit the other month when he was in the park it came up in a blister twice the size of a 50p piece it was really nasty lasted about 6 weeks.
He went to the walk in centre said there was nothing they could do.

my right fore arm swelled up massive like popeyes
went to the hospital cos it realy hurt bad ,my skin felt realy tight and i coldnt get anything bar t shirts on
anyway cutting a long story short the doctor lanced it a load of gunk came out along with 3 little grubs of some kind. i did get told what they were but being a few years back i forgot the name .

what i do remeber is that the fly/thing that bit me layed eggs under my skin,the insect usualy only attacks animals like cows horses ect and was pretty rare for a human to be bit and layed eggs in.
ive still got the round hole with the 3 cells inside easy to see
