returned to Martindale to do the 3 wainwrights i missed last time i was here
at the far end of Martindale there is a wild red deer herd, as i descended fron The Nab near to The Bungalow i climbed over a stile to be confronted by around 150 red deer all looking at me and legging it in all directions! i shit mesel! probally not as much as they did, wasnt quick enought to get me camera out!

3. Ullswater looking towards Pooley Bridge from Hallin Fell

11. Martindale with Bannerdale splitting to the left and Rampsgill to the right, the white house on the left is Dale Head, the red house on the right is The Bungalow a old hunting lodge which is now a holiday let, the rough land inbetween is where all them deers were

Here and There
the second time i done it i thought 'wtf were we doing up here last time!'

I hear ya....I was saying to myself whilst walking it and climbing to the top...'Wtf am I doing here' 'Wtf am I doing here' 'Wtf am I doing here'.....glad I did it though. :D

One of the guys we are doing Scaffell Pike with has dropped out....coz feckin City are at home and he has a season ticket...arsebandit
