I've got an ID for a tune on a set I've downloaded from somewhere on OSA but I'll be buggered if I can find the thread. If someone can find it can a mod shift the details of this post to the right place, please?

Right, here we go. The set is John Pleased Wimmin, Love to Be @ The Music Factory (Worth Waiting For Tour) 1996. Tracks 2 and 3 needed an ID. At 20:41-ish the tune there (which must be track 3, unless there is more than 2 missing ones) is Status Quo 'Roadhouse Blues'. No, really, I'm not taking the piss, it's total cheese :guitar:. He uses this in a few sets I've heard from around this time and it will probably fill in a few more IDs on JPW sets on here. Fuck knows why he thought it was a good idea, unless he was being ironic. Afraid it's a dancefloor sweeper for me, I can't stand it, it has to be put on FF.

Ok guys, thanks. Sounds like I've got the tracks completely mixed up as the V-Men is already listed as track 5 and I thought I was only on 3 at that point. Better leave this to the expert anorak wearers :$.

FF = Fast Forward ;)

Brady, I never cease to be impressed with your encyclopedic knowledge of this stuff. Do you have some kind of relationship database set up to cross reference tunes, or is it all in your head?

use windows search

open up the folder where you keep all your tracklistings
click on search at the top of the page (next to magnifying glass)
search - all files and folders
(second window down) a word or phrase in the file: put what your searching for in that window

;)

Would you do me a favor and see if you have a Hacienda mix from 1989 that starts with "Mantronix - Got to have your love"? I bought just a mix from Parky in the Hac back in the day (subsequently misplaced it) but still haven't seen one on here. If it turns out to be rare, I'll have another go at finding it.
