Went last night for a few hours....really liked it..Good venue..good staff...cracking sound system..bit loud for an old git like me...Jon Da Silva was absolutely brilliant...had bit of everthing for every one.........in each of rooms

am sorry if i offended anybody on the night just saw red when our lass was physically thrown out of the entrance by a little jump up Hitler in a cheap suit throwing his 4 stone Wait about for using the phone to arrange a taxi home for us even the old bouncer ( Charlie )told him not to do it and to behave and told him not to man Handel the ladies .but when we were all talking in the entrance you ( brad ) me and the manger of the club ( mr rothwell ) i think he fucked off cos he knew he was in the wrong and he can only man Handel women by the looks of it .yes we all know you have to keep the entrance clear in case of a fire or something like that but ther is a way for the littel jumped up hitler to ask you to move int ther with out actually physically touching you a doormans job is to (a ) ask you to leave quietly (b )use a minimum of restrant if you say no .but haveing been physically pushed out of the doors for using a phone that is just a joke in it .i wonder if he would like somebody to do that to his girlfriend i dont think he would do you .you could class the as a b h because you have done nothing wrong in the eyes of the law you should have been asked to move out of the way of the door .been round to the club to day and had a word with the other manger and even he sead it was wrong for the little hitler to do it been told they have nothing but proplems with the doorman in question even asked who ran the doormen at misson and i think he sead manchester based national security he gave me his number and to asked for mark .

Right wez....like iv told u in a pm its all recorded on cctv so will be sorted if their was aproblem, the management a mission are cool and will work with u and me to make clubbing as good as possible, they are always keen on keeping the doorway clear especially as it was so busy, not only in case of a fire etc but also to stop people gettin in without paying.

i refunded your money as your a regular and i didnt want u kicking off infront of other customers. i know its not nice what happened to you and the bouncers turned loads of folk away but i could do nothin, its a shame the head doorman (ash ) wasnt their as he is very good.

like it says above i would recommend it had a marvels time again with the joy crew big up m c fox (sorry if i was talking shit before you went on ) steve luigi ,kells & tots ( sorry ),chris17( allways a laugh),cain brown ( nice to meet you at last ) ,coggledots( hello again ),s-j and friend (hello once again ) ,doorman (Charlie) and anybody i spoke to and can't remember them .

Just done a review and lost it!! WTF!!!!
Right well just wanted to say im really chuffed for Ste and Brad that it went so well on their new night!!!
I was a bit nervous for them coz they had the new tunage stylee in the first two rooms and then the classics in the end one.
But it defo exceeded all my expectations and i cant wait for the 4th March
The new tunage stylee was top and i couldnt decide which room to go in coz they were all proper good
Every room was packed with a real good vibe going on. Everyone was rockin from start to finish!!!
Oh and Ste you put anythin in my eye again i will kill ya lol

what a great night this turned out to be, nearly 800 people in with loads more turned away at the door, big shout to brad and tots for pullin this one off and it looks the start of a great year for em.

caught the back end of brads and tots set in the tech house room and heard some quality tunes, jon da silvas set was awesome, just the type of tunes i expected. had a bit of a tussle in the dj box with jon tryin to set me ableton gear up lol (thats me in the pic next to jon) but got it workin in time and enjoyed playin me set to an appreciative crowd........

lookin forward to next month, anybody who didnt make it should get down there in march - just ask anyone who was there how good it was........

Was a good night had by all again @ JOY I did not know what to do with me sen at first i have to say, coz it was SO different to the normal JOY's But i soon got inta the swing of things in room two (have never seen room two so feckin RAMMED!) Was also some good funky stuff going on in room three that i had a shuffle about to early on, while a got a couple of double brandies down me neck (£5.90 ) Room one (classics) was not really my thing this time amazingly! Seemed to be an ibeeefa athems thing going on

All in all a top night that looks to be on the up for kells & tots, the new stylee saturday thing can't go wrong imo. Well done fellas

big up to s-j (sorry lass but D & B does so NOT do it for me LOL!), pauly p, danny c (oh god its not really 1pm is it?) for after hours drunkenness

I'm afraid things get a bit hazy after leaving the club, but I remember being horrified when someone said it was 1pm (Sunday)!! My cut off time is usually about 4am!!!

Anyway, very enjoyable, liked the fact there was a few different styles of music to cater differing tastes

Cheers to Jay for the lift, SJ for the lift back and Chris for the hospitatlity

Sully I'm expecting some Orbital/Howard Jones type set up next time, it worked well though and seemed to be apreciated!

thanx for that matey....Da Silva was really good and seemed to be much more happy than i thought he would be, he is happy to be resident tho, seemed really pleased even tho his kid was in hospital.. so hopefully he will be on form for you, he playes new stuff at joy btw.


as for sullys set, i put a new disc in the mini disc and told him not to unplug it at the end of the night, guess what....he did!!!! so it might not have recorded as their was no battery in it, got all the other sets tho.
ill check now if it recorded sullys..

Sound, great night on Saturday. Went down abit later on at about 12ish and knew it was going to be good when I saw the queue outside the entrance to the club.

Once in side the place was very busy and had the usual hustle and bustle to get me self a drink.

Was mainly just wondering in and out between rooms most of the night, listening to the different styles trying to catch abit of everyone’s set.

The new music policy went down very well and jon da silva played some wicked tecky / electro fillers, supported by Sully after using his ableton which was interesting to watch.

As usual the main room was rocking with some really progressive ark style classics, but missed the main sets of the evening only catching the last 30mins. :$

Also the peeps in there were all friendly and the decor and visuals in the club are second to none sporting a great atmosphere all round. Also the new house DJ’s (graham dixion and dean carey) were very impressive in the first room playing some great up front and funky house.


Was nice to meet some new faces from the forum. Pauly P and wesbash. (and no wesbash im not steve luigi’s son.)

Also danny C, mad as a box of frogs, met you a few times before but didn’t know it was you on here, sound anyway. Hope you enjoyed the council pop.

Cheers for all those that came back to mine afterwards and sorry I was abit quite all night, was a little spaced out.

Overall a wicked night making up for the disappointment on NYE, so was good to see, and hopefully each and every month be as good as this.
