Earlier in the year we woke up to the heartbreaking news that the wonderful Tina Blackmore had sadly passed away, taken from us far too soon.
She was one of the kindest people I knew and I was privileged to call my friend.
As her family and friends gathered to celebrate her life and to give her the heart-warming send off she truly deserved I was asked by friends to do another Jenks reunion.
As many will know I have refused many requests to do so. Then came the suggestion to do an event in Tina`s name.
Tina was Jenks through and through. They were her favourite events and she was an essential part of our Jenks family, so I could not refuse.
As some of you will know Tina helped raise funds for baby Reva who was born with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer.
Reva is the daughter of two of our Jenks family and OSA members, Gaz Hickingbotham and Aymz Hickingbotham.
This little trooper has already had more operations and seen the inside of a hospital more than most of us will do in a lifetime, supported by her loving mum and dad every step of the way, who by the way, realised they were meant for each other at one of our events.
Reva has still got a long road ahead of her.
After checking with John, Matt and Andrew, we are back once again raising funds to help her on that road.
We could not do an event without asking Tina`s partner, Danny Dee, to support us and it gives us a chance to finally get Neil @CANO ... Hernandez on at a Jenks event! So, here we are.
The Jenks gang are back to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.
All proceeds will be given to baby Reva, in loving memory of our dear friend Tina Blackmore.

Pre-meet up planned for 5.00 pm onwards (or earlier should you wish to do so) at the Rose and Crown (unless anyone has any better suggestions).
