Indoor Mobile phone signal booster

Anyone know the cheapest way to boost your mobile phone signal in the house - I've tried the gold strips inside the phone with no joy and am now looking at some kin of indoor aerial, but are there any cheap ones out there or any1 know a better way?

I heard at one stage you could get a small atenna device that stuck to you upstairs window but not sure how much they were?

Also a couple of other solutions

Certain phones have the capabillty to operate through you hub at home when your in to do VOIP- Voice over internet

Also Blackberry on Orange do something called UMA- which again is another system of using your home hub to boost your signal covergae by using the internet

Who is your service provider out of interest?

I probably need some help on this too, seem to have jack-all signal

Dunno if other operators or 3rd party manufactures make em - but I've seen this

Reckon my contract can't be far from being up, might just change provider if it is.
