right. Ive not wrote a review out until know because in all honesty i didnt know what to say. The only reason I am writing it now is because I feel incredibly guilty towards the regulars who turn up for every event and have it large until the very last tune has been played. Without you lot we wouldnt even have a night to play at so its very difficult for me to truely express my gratitude to you all, and say exactly what it means to me to see you all buzzing away on the dancefloor.
You lot are an absolute pleasure to play for. Always appreciative of the time and effort we put in when we pick our tunes. As you know we purposely dont play the cheesy anthems, and spend a lot of time finding, borrowing or even buying tunes that you wont have heard for a while or sometimes tunes that you may not have ever heard before..
So its nice to know our core crowd are open minded enough to appreciate some lesser known tunes.
however... I know the last event was primetime festival / holiday period
and we expected a slight drop in the numbers, but i was unbelievaly disapointed with the turn out. Especially considering the decent numbers on the meetup list.
That aside I was incredibly ebarrassed and felt really guilty that two oldskool legends,(who were playing for free btw) had to play to less than 20 people at points, knowing full well that they had spent days tailoring their sets to suit the crowd and play stuff that would be appreciated.
I can appreciate the fact that it was pretty hot and the smokers have to go outside for a cig, and people also need to take a bit of a breather from time to time as we're not all as young as we used to be, but if it wasnt for the aforementioned core crowd and probably non smokers lol
everyone would have been sat outside.
Taking all that into consideration, the next In My House may very well be the last one. We want IMH to be more than just a night out. We want it to be an experience, and something that you will remember for years and recall fondly to yourselves in the alzheimers wards

and if thats not what the end result is then it's not what we set out to do.
The next and possibly final IMH is on the 18th of OCTOBER, featuring a true Oldskool Legend.
THIS IS ALSO MY 30TH BIRTHDAY BASH:| lol so I hope you can all join me in saying goodbye to my twenties in true OSA styleee with a massive partaaaay
cheers for your ears (should that be eyes lol)
