BUT, I have recently got over my strawberry phobia!!! :D:D

I LOVE the taste of strawberries but cant bear the texture of them in my mouth, like I could have a strawberry smoothie (providing I drink it fast so I don't get any pips there might be left!):D

BUT, not so long back I discovered if I peel the outside of the strawberry off, I can quite happily eat one:thumbsup:  (or a few) without gettin the normal heeby jeebies I would if I ate one with the skin on.....:S which, I have of course tried. I got clammy palms and goosebumps.......:|

So, there you go, I can now eat strawberries til my hearts content now all I have to do is to get some mug to peel em (its a ballache:rolleyes: )

Does anyone else do random sh1t with their food or is it just me????

lol xxxxx:wave:

I cant stand to touch raw chicken when its got the skin on - simply the texture of the skin makes my flesh crawl and i can feel myself coming out in a cold sweats. I have to get someone to take the skin off for me cos i cant bear it otherwise - i start cringing and backing off away from it at the mere thought im gonna have to pick ip its ugly bald ass and rip the skin off it. When its cooked its different, ill eat the crispy skin but i cannot stand to be near it raw:S

LOL

I was feeding our dog earlier and she eats chicken legs/wings/thighs.

Had to defrost some chicken wings and emptied them out of a bag and touched one, ewww it had bits, like inner chicken bits attached to it or sommat and it gave me the fear, had to wash me hands - the thought of touching it is just wrong lol

She eats them dead fast, crunching up the bones, it's top to watch, but just can't touch the chicken bits

in reply to your question sarah you have to delicately peel the outside bits off with a knife (said strawberries have to be pretty big before you start otherwise it aint worth it!)

ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa:thumbsup:
