Hotels in Liverpool

Does anybody know of any decent hotels in Liverpool??

It's a friend of mine's 21st and a few of them are going Liverpool for a night out but none of us have ever really stayed in a hotel there.

They're looking for somewhere near the city centre and lime street train station if thats possible (dont really know liverpool at all).

Also they want to spend about £50-£70 for a twin room/double room

Not really sure lol, seem to have lost track of time. Between 8 and 10. I remember we had a meet up with a mate at the curry house to be their first customers at 11

ha, i asked myself that after we pulled up at the guesthouse looks well shady!

it was years back, just one i booked over the phone when we made our way up to go to Cream one night, probably about 97ish
