I also never got to a Hazy, seen the pics & heard the sounds but alas... never there.

All is not lost though, The crowd will still be here on this forum and many good DJ's. Surely it's not beyond the collective to sort a new semi-permanant venue with a Phatt PA, smoke & lights? Maybe head for the hills & trees with some generators.

What a bloody disaster!!:(
Myself and all my mates that finally came to the October night are truly gutted as this was the best oldskool nite experience for a long time...
I trully hope you get something sorted soon as all the peeps I met were the most friendly bunch i've ever met....

happy memories

Taken a while for this to sink in...

To have been on the floor at Hazy (or propped up against a wall!) when the residents were banging out the tunes was amazing - you won't meet djs with a greater passion for old school - to have had the chance to actually play there on the year anniversary of me making the journey to Liverpool last Nov makes it all the more poignant for me.

Hazy brought like minded people together. I've not met anyone that can match the hospitality of the HazyCrew, their wit, humour and mutual respect. - that's all the Scousers and the rest of the Hazy team: those on the floor giving it the big un and not giving a monkeys - hehe, as Silo showed this Hazy (will the Attic floor ever recover from your amorous attentions I wonder?) phones: :fekked:  :eyebrow: :cops:

Hazy gave us all the chance to get out on the floor and have a dance to tunes that, at least in my case, I never thought I'd get to hear live - either because I'd never heard them live in a club, or because I thought they were destined to gather dust in record boxes. So many people got the opportunity to to play out up and downstairs, friendships forged, new relationships sparked, it has so many different memories for all that go back each month. A true shame it's ended.

A big thank you to Mick, Shaz, Annie, Ste, Mart and the Ressies for some great times. phones:

Only just seen this. Very surprised and sad at the news.:(

I've had some cracking times at Hazy, and a really big thanks to all involved in putting on the nights. Met some real quality, friendly peeps there. It's strange with club nights like these - you kind of expect them to go on forever. Well, many people on OSA look back to various club nights 'back in the day' with a great deal of fondness and great memories. I think we can say the Hazy crew have left us with a real legend of a night to talk about in future years.

Cheers

Just had to say thanks to Mick and everyone who made Hazy such a great place.

The missus and me are still in shock at the news.

It's been a great two years. I've met people i've been "talking" to for years, enjoyed the best music i've heard in a club for about ten years, and met some new friends there. I think the thing that we will miss the most is the people who turned up month after month (Tim, Mikee to name a few).

Liverpool won't be the same now.

Sadly I never did make it to any of the nights for obvious reasons but i always follow the reviews and pics with a great interest as you created something there that was as close as can be to back in the day by the look of it.

Good luck in the future hopefully you can set something up again you certainly have a good name and a following crowd
