Grime

Just looking through Juno and thought id check out the 'Grime' section and educate myself on wtf it was.... :| This is erm a very strange genre, what are your thoughts on grime? To me its sounds really dirty (suppose it goes well with its name) like proper bad ass mo fo kinda stuff lol!

There's some excellent grime stuff out there & some that's not so good
Neil Landstrumm is doing some great stuff at the mo- check out his 'Life of Grime' ep, especially if your into your techno. Other good stuff- Vex'd, DJ Distance & check out the Burial album from last year (not grime, but similar origins & much more laid back dubstep).
Surgeon always bangs a few grimey classic tracks in his sets nowadays.

Tbh ive listened to a few of the samples on juno, some i dont like and some i actually think are alright, its like minimal taken to another level, and like tucker said, its well trippy, lol!

Basslines sound top - pitty about the vocal over it most of it.

there is some wicked grime tracks about
top producers are sticky,dexplicit and wiley
also some relly good mcs,
check marga man for something tamer but wicked!
but 85% of grime producers an mcs are swag!
