graeme park 9-5-92.m4a

GP May 16th 92 one of my all time favs - (this was one rocking night at the Hac) particularly when Parky had a load of new stuff he was breaking. Bit of a que at the booth to make sure you got the tape from that week.

The A side is live as you can hear the crowd noises on it and it has no tracks the same as on on the other 9th May tape.... so I'm thinking this is from another part of the 9th May and the B Side (which has tracks that are on the other 9th May Tape) is a Demo mix done the day before? What do you reckon Malton?

1. Frankie Knuckles 'Rain Falls' (David's 12" Soakin' Wet Mix)
2. Eleanore Mills 'Mr Right' (The Superb Parkside Mix)
3. ???
4. Lil' Louis 'Club Lonely' (I'm On The Guest List Mix)
5. Inner City 'Pennies From Heaven'
6. Deep Beats Vol 1 'Track 1 - Siren\Code Red'

9. Producers On Wax 'Feel The Piano' (Matt`s Piano Mix)
10. Richard Rogers 'All I Want' (Hitmans Dub)
11. Kathy Sledge 'Take Me Back To Love Again' ..what mix?

Hi Noel,
Just listening to this now and you've got track 7 down (after Deep Beats Vol 1) as Shawn Christopher, it's actually Bump - I'm rushing (you know the mix - not the Martian, Big Bump I think!)
Cheers

Ah Mr Musto strikes agian
A greattrack on 16/5, cheers Noel for the id, one of the all tiime GP played but ainted got tracks

Be interesting to hear Parky with his Hac head in the MOS, bit of a clash of "coolness" at the time, a good mix in 92, we were well happy to get it from GP as I think he wanted us to travel and support him, as this didnt happen back then whilst it was common place to hear music style rather than where the dj was from in the 90's

Must say for me CJ Mack is one of the bst dj of this era but there aint many tapes around to show off his skills, all good stuff.

If it's the Absolute 'Introduce Me To Love' track you are on about.... then I've just checked on youtube and it's actually the "Dub".

Same releases as Musto mix though...
