GOODTIMES - next Saturday CANCELLED

It is with deep regret for the first time in 7 yrs , Goodtimes is having to cancel one of its events at very short notice ( this one being next Saturday ) 15th . . . . .

This is due to the venue we was in ( fabrik ) being shut at the moment already would u belive lol . . ,as there being no manager there now to run the venue as the old one has walked out last week sometime and took all his stuff ,app fallen out with the owner or something over the lease ??? i avent got the full story , all i know is the club is shut . . . im pretty pissed off to say the least , they didnt even ave the decency to ring to tell us , I only found this out yesterday from another source lucky enough . . . . .

A new venue will be found as soon as we look at our other options . . so please bear with us . . .

So sorry for those that had planned to come , it is really out of my hands and there is nothing i could or can do . . . .

I think thats a bit of a shit excuse on the club owners part, so what if his manager has left, can't he get his own arse to the club and open it ??

If i was runnin a business I think i'd put a bit more effort in especially if it had just been all refurbed, I wouldn't/couldn't afford to be cancelling events. I'd be wary of dealing with this idiot again if I were you ben.

And I've even booked the sunday off work to come to this......

sorry to hijack this thread ben mate, but yep this is shite, its happened to me before and its the worst thing!!!, you may find it will be all ok once they get a new manager, i know it prob wont solve your event next week but the month after it may all be sorted fingers crossed!!!
