Have any of you ebay users received one of these emails from ebay asking you to submit your pasword and mname recently.

Here`s the email they sent me.

Definitely bogus. There are hundreds of variations of this, basically ebay will never ask you for user ID/password via an email. There's a link on the ebay site which gives details of most of the scams that go around.

yes my mrs gets loads of them mate I told her not to fill it in and to send a copy to customer support at ebay.

They replied thank you and also stated ebay will never request personal details from its members.

Bin it mate or send it to ebay cust services

I get 'em from Ebay and Paypal mainly .. same $hit.

Please give us your password and username so we can bid on things for you! and you have no legal comeback...

i got an email from someone from south africa when i was selling my car, said hed send me a cheque for 5000 pound and then i take out how much i was selling the car for and re send him a cheque.................lol cheeky bastards !!!!
