Just watching the DVD of the DMC 2006 Championship in London, I wanna see somebody get up up there and do that amazing work, with Jimi Polo and Joe Smooth :)

Pure un-believable stuff they pull off.

How do they manage to barely move the records and it scratch like that LOL

I've got about about 20-25 DMC videotapes of these events and they used to be compulsive viewing:cool: I've travelled with DMC and got all the passes for special entry and vip parties too. I couldn't get enough of it at the time:cool:

DJ Noize for me did the best ever routine in 1996 when he won the comp:king:

Haven't seen any comps since about 2000/2001 though:|

Are the Manchester heats still at Sankeys?

dj noise quality not sure if its the set your on about, but never forget the tune he made up with a kind of whistle/synth he speeded it up and slowed it down to make a melody, then the next track was the real melody which sounded exactly the same as what he just made, if that makes sense:confused: quality though is dj noise, like cash money he keeps the melody and rhythm going. where as some of the dmc djs although technically brilliant and fast, the actual sound is just a load of noise, which could only really be appreciated if your actually watching them as well as listening. i like dj z-trip not sure if he has ever been in any dmc comps, but i like his inventive and original mixes, (ive never heard a dj cut up pink floyds - young lust before or added some hiphop beats over rhinestone cowboy)

Yep, Notorious B.I.G's 'Big Poppa' that leaky:thumbsup:

Noize had some great ideas like battling mc's on vinyl and emulating musical pieces - as he did on 'Big Poppa' and kept his set fresh and while his beat juggling might not have been as technical, he totally nailed it on the night

Amazing how much the competition moved on between Chad Jackson winning it and Cash Money though:cool:
